This wheel thrown hanging planter is made from a white stoneware clay body, is lined with clear glaze with an unglazed interior bottom. The exterior is hand painted and unglazed, sealed in liquid quartz for protection and water resistance. This planter is designed without drainage holes so you can conveniently drop a plastic pot inside without even transplanting if you like—or you can transplant directly in the pot (add 1” of gravel under soli and don’t over-water…the bottom interior doesn’t have glaze so it can breathe and easily allow water to evaporate).
